Allan and Julie founded JUAL Enterprises Ltd in 2008 with the passion for producing quality 100% New Zealand Made merino base layer clothing with superior comfort and style.

Fast forward to 2021 and Allan and Julie still have the same foundation and love for quality merino.

JUAL specialise in ethically sourced New Zealand made men’s & women’s 100% merino wool base layers, thermals, lingerie, underwear, accessories & more. Meaning you can be assured you are wearing the highest quality fine merino.

and adding new styles and ranges to our business.

Our Merino Wool

Not all wool is created equal and the fine merino used on JUAL garments is of the highest quality grade, some handpicked by Allan and his team for assurance.

We are proud to say that we can trace selected items from our Nature’s Secret™ range back to New Zealand farms in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough where the superfine merino wool is produced by our farmers. Giving you confidence that your purchase is supporting local, responsible farmers who are passionate about sustainability and our environment.

We live and breathe our love for quality merino products – showcased through our brands Brass Monkeys™, From Merino with Love™, and Nature's Secret™.

Our People

We use local industries to knit, dye, design and manufacture our garments. Each garment is carefully cut and sewn by specialists who are passionate about providing quality and comfort. 

Many of our suppliers are also our customers and friends, so we understand from ground level up the hard work and understanding of the land, wool fibre and manufacturing process required to produce quality fine merino wool garments.
